Aluprop NG

Aluprop NG is an effective product for the preparation, degreasing, etching and general cleaning of light alloy surfaces including aluminium. It will ensure a clean surface with a uniform appearance which will give good paint adhesion if being used to prepare a surface prior to painting.

Aluprop NG can be used on a wide range of areas such as the cleaning a de-fouling of aluminium boat hulls and skips as well as many application within areas of product manufacturing.

• Concentration : Dilute by 10% to 50% in water
• Contact time : 5 to 20 minutes depending upon treatment method

What can I do with the water that I use to rinse the surface?

The best thing is to re-use the water. This reduces waste and, potentially, saves you money. Once the water has been used to rinse a treated surface it will contain a percentage of Aluprop NG so use this water to make up your next batch of Aluprop NG treatment solution.

What is the best application method?

It is hard to say which method of application is best for Aluprop NG as it can be applied in several ways. If you only have a small number of items to treat or have some very large pieces, then spraying onto the surface and rinsing by hand is very cost effective. If, however, you have smaller pieces then immersion in a tank containing an Aluprop NG solution would be an effective method.
