How do these bags work?
As we say, the bags are used with our Bigfloc or Aspifloc treatment & filtration systems. The bags are suspended the top frame housing and should sit, gently, on the base. The waste water is pumped or poured into the bags and the lining will hold the solids/sludge allowing the water to pass through. Each type of bag has a different grade lining meaning that it will filter to a different micron level thus you can match the bag to the waste so that the best filtration is obtained.
Aren't these sacks just 'builders bags'?
From the outside, they do look very similar to the bulk bags you see full of sand or gravel but each of the bags has an oversize lining sewn to the inside which provides the filtration.
What do I do with the bag when it's full?
When you have filled each bag we recommend leaving it for a few days to allow as much of the remaining moisture to drain through the lining. To remove the bag from the frame you simply lift the top section of the frame, from which the bag hangs, and lower it onto a pallet. The bag can then be unhooked from the frame and the bag cover tied to protect the contents. The pallet can then be left to allow the remaining moisture to leave then it can be disposed in your usual way.
