3 BAR maximum spraying pressure and a 90cm telescopic spray lance supplied as standard.
The Veris sprayer has a 5 litre working capacity a 1.3 metre hose, 52 - 90cm telescopic lance and NBR seals that are long lasting and are designed to work with many types of non corrosive, pH neutral chemical products.
The Veris is perfect for weed control and general spraying around your home garden and for spraying up to 4-metres from the ground. The 5-litre tank makes this a viable unit for small to medium sized gardens and it can be used be used with a number of our extension wands/lances.
In addition to all of this, the Veris can be used with an air compressor. You would need to use either accessory 0649 or 0746 which takes the place of the sprayer pump handle and allows you to connect to a compressor meaning that you would have a constant supply of compressed air.
What does a telescopic spray wand mean?
The spray wand is the plastic tube onto which the spray nozzle fixes. This Veris sprayer has a telescopic wand which means you can select the length that you wish to spray. The wand can reach from 520mm to 900mm which gives you good flexibility and increases the range of areas that you can spray. This telescopic lance is unusual to be fitted as standard to compression sprayers, so this really makes the Veris sprayer a good choice.
Can I use this sprayer with your telescopic lances?
Yes. You can simply attach the hose of the Veris sprayer to the either the 5.4 or 3.2-metre telescopic lances however you must have the lance that is designed to connect to the Veris sprayer. We have included both of the Veris telescopic lances on the sprayer page but they can also be found on the Extension Lances section.
What does Tank Ullage mean?
Ullage is the name given to the gap between the maximum fill and the total tank capacity. It is important with sprayers as the larger the ullage is then the more space there is for compressed air. The more compressed air you have then the longer spraying time you have before you run out of pressure. This sprayer has an ullage of 2 litres which is above average for a sprayer of this size.
I want to spray at a constant pressure. What can I do?
Many herbicides and other products have an optimum spray pressure to maximise the droplet size thus the efficiency of the product. With most compression sprayers there is no way to be certain of the spray pressure however the Veris can be used with our Constant Flow Valves that allow you to spray at either 1, 1.5 or 2bar. They are easily attached to your sprayer and will make your spraying quicker and more effective.
