Abso Oil BPM

Our Abso Oil cushions contain a natural Hydrophobic material having a capacity to absorb various low hydrophilic pollutants, such as oils, greases, hydrocarbons and heavy metals contained in waste water or surface treatment baths or aqueous lubrication solution in the machining of ferrous or non-ferrous metals.

The low hydrophilic pollutants are captured and held within the filling without obstructing the exchange surface. When used as part of our filtration units, their replacement in the purification chamber is very easy as is disposal to either landfill or they can be recycled as fuel.

Benefits of using our Abso Oil:

a) Selectively absorbs fats, oils and protection products within aqueous baths

b) Absorbs oils in rinsing baths or plating baths

c) Hydrophobic - they continues to absorb pollutants without absorbing water

d) Avoid bacterial overgrowth on baths

e) 1 litre of ABSO-OIL absorbs 6 to 8 liters of hydrocarbons = high absorption capacity

f) Very easy replacement

g) Can be landfilled or recovered as fuel

APPLICATIONS

Can be used within our EPUR-OIL systems as well as many unique systems matching particular customer requirements.

To prolong and optimize the absorption surface, we recommend that the effluent be filtered to a minimum of 100 microns before passing to the ABSO-OIL.
