FAQs

These granules are designed for the micro filtration of all types of industrial waste.  Normally used within our EpurWater PM & EpurWater GM filtration units these granules will remove chemical & effluent traces in order to improve the final quality of the treated industrial water.

Only to be used after the separation and filtration of the solids from the industrial waste water, so after the water has been treated and filtered.  This product should only be used for the filtration of clear water in order to remove particles that can't be removed by our range of filtration bags or rolled media.

Our Activated Carbon Granules TE are designed for the capture of solvents or organic material held within water or water-based solutions.

In industrial situations these granules are generally used within our filtration systems to enhance the quality of the finished water after the primary treatments have taken place to remove solids and excessive impurities. This product can also be used used to purify swimming pool water treatment for the decomposition of chlorine and ozone.

Activated Carbon TE is ready for use in a purification chamber within our EpurWater systems. In the filtration process, at the outlet, circulate the solution to be treated in a filtration chamber at 50μ maximum followed by the purification chamber responsible.

It is very important to remember that activated carbon must be changed on a regular basis. We are using it for its excellent filtration qualities which means it will become clogged with the contaminants that it is removing from your waste water. If not changed then these could possibly become a breeding ground for dangerous micro-organisms after a certain period of time. We therefore recommend that our customers have enough activated carbon for at least two changes and that it is kept in a sealed container or bag between changes.
