PROCLEAN 200 is a stable and non-toxic aqueous emulsion particularly effective for the cleaning of water-based paint and varnish application equipment such as spray guns.
Designed for cleaning spray guns, painting circuits, robot mats, etc. without damage to the various materials within them therefore safe for gaskets and soft plastic parts. Proclean 200 can also be used to clean floors, walls, doors, windows of booths. Due to its composition, Proclean 200 can be used with equipment applying both water and solvent based paint, which can traditionally be a problem to clean. It is much more powerful than using pure water followed by thinners and can also reduce VOC usage.
PROCLEAN 200 should be used diluted from 10% to 50% in water or even pure for paint stripping and reticulated varnishes.
I don't understand the dilution rates for Proclean 200
Proclean can be used neat or up to 90% diluted with water. This is quite a spread of dilution rates but that is because Proclean is a very versatile product as it can be used with solvent paints and water-based
paints.
For the general cleaning or flushing of paint-lines Proclean can be diluted between 50% (1 part to 1 part water) and 90% in water (1 part to 9 parts water). Obviously, the heavier the paint deposit then the stronger the mix should be.
Should I use Proclean or Proclean 200?
The product that you use depends upon the coating that you are cleaning. As many types of coating are very different expecting a single cleaning product to be equally effective across the spectrum is
unrealistic. This is why we have a range of Proclean products to ensure that whichever types of paint you want to clean then you can be sure that one of the types of Proclean will work for you. You will find that Proclean will work with all types of paint but will be better with some compared to others. If you find that Proclean is a little slow at cleaning your paint then Proclean 200 will be the one to use next time.
You can always contact us and we will be happy to confirm which of our Proclean range would be most suited to your particular requirement.
