Description

Proco SP3204 is a liquid, spray booth additive designed for the treatment of  overspray, that remains sticky, within the spray booth water.  It can be used with both solvent-based and water-based paints and lacquers and within most types of wet spray booths.

As a denaturing coagulant, the composition of Proco SP3204 makes it suitable for all types of solvent-based and water-soluble solutions.  When mixed with spray booth water, it agglomerates pigments (overspray) from paint, lacquer, basecoat, and varnish, preventing clogging thus reducing the need for the cleaning of system.  This means that Proco SP3204 extends the lifespan of spray booth water and reduces draining frequency.

Proco SP3204 is very effective with all types of lacquer, especially solvent-based lacquer, that can become very sticky within a spray booth.  Treating the system water (with both Proco SP3204 and SA303) will allow lacquer to be separated and filtered from the booth water.

FAQs

Do I have to empty the water from my spray booth before starting with Proco SP3204?

If your spray booth water contains a small amount of sludge and doesn't contain any chemicals (other than your paint overspray), then there is a very good chance that we can start a treatment without having to change your booth water. If, however, the water has a large amount of sludge, within the tank, or contains chemicals other than your paint then we would recommend changing the booth water and starting the treatment with a tank containing fresh water.

The pipes & nozzles are always blocking, will using Proco SP3204 reduce this?

Proper dosing will certainly reduce blockages both within pipes, pumps and nozzles. When used correctly, it will stop coatings from sticking and keep it suspended within the booth water.

Will using Proco SP3204 stop smells from my booth water?

Proco SP3204 does not contain a biocide (which is designed to kill bacteria within the water) therefore, should it be required, PROBIO can be added to booth water to stop smells. However, the removal of sludge, from the system, will greatly reduce the possibility of smells so using Proco SP3204 can help with the situation.
