Solar Clean V

Solar Clean V is a versatile detergent, particularly effective for cleaning photovoltaic panels, skylights, and other glass structures. It does not damage various common materials (ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastic, rubber, paint), will leave no marks, and is easily degradable.
Description

Solar Clean V is a very powerful, concentrated descaling detergent.  It has been developed for the specialist cleaning of photovoltaic solar panels, roof glass & windows, and glass structures.

As it has been developed for these areas of cleaning, it will not damage various common materials such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastic, rubber, or paint.  Also, it will leave no marks, and is easily degradable.  Containing surfactants that are highly effective at room temperature gives the detergent solution a very high wetting and penetrating power that will emulsify animal, vegetable, and petroleum fats as well as atmospheric soiling, bird droppings, and more.

Solar Clean V can be used with low pressure application equipment (hand, compression or knapsack sprayers), as well as high pressure units, manual application, and application by drone.

APPLICATION:

Low Pressure Spraying (hand/knapsack sprayer) - Concentration between 10% and 20% (100ml/200ml per litre) depending on level of soiling. Use at ambient temperature with a contact time between 5 and 10 minutes before being rinsed at a low pressure.

High Pressure Spraying (pressure/steam cleaner) - Washing solution should be between 2% and 5% at nozzle tip and, for best results, the working temperature should be between 40oC and 60oC. Cleaning results should be immediate and the surface rinsed if necessary.

Washing by Drone - Concentration should be between 5% and 30% (5ml/300ml per litre) depending on level of soiling. Use atambient tempreature with a contact time between 5 and 10 minutes before being rinsed at a low pressure.

Coverage - The actual coverage that you can obtain from a container will obviously depend upon the concentration at which you are using the Solar Clean V but per litre of mixed solution you should be looking at a coverage of around 6 square metres per litre. When applying , as a guide, you should be looking to cover the area with the Solar Clean V solution, but not saturate it. Therefore, stop spraying before the product is seen to be running down the surface.
